BPH Mobile privacy policy
Effective September 24, 2026. This page describes the BPH Mobile iPhone app, not the Chapin Law website contact form.
What the app does
BPH Mobile is a private, read-only tool for one attorney. Its legal-practice data comes from a practice-owned export delivered through a private iCloud Drive container and stored in a protected local cache on the attorney's iPhone. The app does not create a public account, accept client submissions, or send case data to a BPH Mobile web server.
Data handling
The app may display client and hearing information from that private export after device-owner authentication. The export is designed to omit transcripts, source packets, preparation notes, calls, emails, and free-text matter notes. Search runs on the device. The app has no advertising, third-party analytics SDK, or in-app tracking. Optional local notifications use generic text without client or matter details.
The app's sample preview contains synthetic information only. Installing or removing the app does not delete records from the underlying legal-practice system or the owner's iCloud Drive. Apple controls the iCloud account and its encryption settings; BPH Mobile does not determine whether Advanced Data Protection is enabled.
Support and beta testing
If you choose to email support, your email is handled by the mail services involved in delivery and by the law office. Do not include client information or privileged material in support email. Apple separately handles TestFlight installation, feedback, and diagnostics under its own terms when beta testing is used.
For app privacy or support, see the BPH Mobile support page. This page may change if the app's data flow changes.
